This kid is amazing. Just take the time to listen to what he has to say. He really puts it all in perspective. Makes me proud that I work in the school system, and maybe I am making a difference in a child's life.

Bear With Me
Oh!!!
That's what I just said when I finally got the background to change.
Now I have to work on the rest. But not tonight. I have to get off here and get something done before M gets home. (which will be in about 10 minutes)
I'm so excited! I can't wait to get the rest figured out!

Damn Hot!!!
Well it's no wonder I can't stop sweating!
Today I left the school at noon, came home, got in the pool.
Then I went to the High School and passed out Pride Cards to the band students. Came home and got in the pool.
My kids wanted supper, so I dragged myself out of the pool to fix them chicken nuggets and mac & cheese. As I am standing at the sink filling the pan with water, I look at the thermometer I have in the window. No lie! This is what it said!
Granted, it was 4:45pm and the sun was shining directly on the window, but still. It's been a long time since that thermometer has been over 100.
I might wear my swim suit to school tomorrow so the kids can hose me off during recess!

We've Been Flocked?
On my way home from Walmart tonight I see this:
What!?! I drove around the block to read the sign again. I wanted to know who had done this and why.
Then I took some pictures because I wanted to be the first to report it!
Why, you ask?
Because one of the other Elementary Schools in the district, flocked our school!!!
How funny is that?

Labor Day!
I'm not too sure what we will be doing today. I do know we are going to my grandma's for a family cookout. M is supposed to get off around 2pm. We'll see if that really happens. If business is slow, then he probably will.
Right now I have been enjoying the morning to myself. I should have been busy getting some things done, but then again, I should always be getting things done. The kids each spent the night somewhere with different family members, so I got to just get up and do what I wanted. I didn't have to hear "I'm hungry" or "What can we do?" come out of any one's mouth. I just scooped the cat box, put out fresh water and everyone here was happy.
I'm trying to think of something that we can do that won't cost a lot of money, preferably outside, and will satisfy everyone.
Any ideas Internet?
