C1 has been in dance since she was three years old.
This is her ninth year. (Where did the time go?)
When she was about five I started asking her if she had "danced pretty" when I picked her up.
One week, she said "No. I danced liked this," and waved her arms crazily in the air. And then she laughed.
Since then I have told her to "dance pretty" when I drop her off at the studio. And I always make sure to say it before she goes on stage.
I don't want anymore of that crazy dancing going on.
Now, it's our thing.
